The original device was 153 × 168 mils (3.9 × 4.3 mm) or an area of 16.6 square mm. Given that ours is 12 × 15 inches, that makes it about 7000 times actual size.
How big would a 68000 microprocessor be at the scale of the MOnSter 6502?
Also about 19 square feet (1.7 square meters).
How big would a modern CPU be at this scale?
The Apple A8X, found in the iPad Air 2, contains about 3 billion transistors. (This is comparable to the number of transistors in modern desktop computer CPUs as well.) At the scale of the MOnSter 6502, that would take about 885,000 square feet (82000 square meters) — an area about 940 ft (286 m) square.

foolproof?

Over one week and I got two fully assembled mainboards, two completely new power supplies and I only have to plug in foolproof connectors according to the instructions, but I still have no working computer.
CPU fan spins up, power LED is on, hdd spins up, no video output, no blip. Have triple checked and replaced every piece to connect peripherals to the board and they are working. There is also no error blips when no RAM is installed at all. The mainboard instructions say I need 500W, I got a 550W power supply.
Can two fully assembled boards be damaged out of factory or is it not really foolproof? This is really depressing not finding out why it is not working.

I fucking hate modern hardware!!! It only breaks and you can do nothing to fix it.
Since two days I have no sound on my #Jolla phone anymore. No music, no alarm, but I can still talk on the phone at least. Had this problem before and a reboot solved it, but not anymore.
Monday I bought a new mainboard for my computer, that broke Saturday. Just to realise I need also a new power supply because the old one has just 2x2 power plug, but I need 2x4 for the new CPU. So the next day I got a power supply finally. After everything was assembled only the CPU fan spins, CD and HDD rotate, but no screen, no keyboard LED, even no error speaker sounds. Today the shop was already closed when I returned from office. Let's see when I will have a working computer again.
