Indonesia students reported being happiest at school. Germany is is just on the 2nd part below OECD average.

Lowest Performers Feeling Happiest at School. Sweden in PISA-2013 paradox

Happiest students “performing” lowest

The main results in the PISA investigation are displayed in “Snapshot of performance in mathematics, reading and science”. [4] Here are all the countries ranked, including the OECD-partners nations. The countries scoring lowest in that table are Indonesia and Peru; Albania also in the lowest segment of performers.

Now, rolling down to table “Percentage of students who reported being happy at school”, we find that Indonesia, Albania, and Perú, are the countries scoring with the highest percentages of “being happy at the school” among all the countries

:-! there have been so many stupid interpretations and decisions made out of PISA. :facepalm

Just to be difficult, while the object "girl" or "boy" located at school can be happy, what do we mean by a happy "student" at school? We do not simply mean a happy girl or boy, we mean a girl or boy who studies, because if they do not study, they are hopefully happy girls and boys located at school, but they cannot be said to be "students" if they do not study in a place of study, yes? It is generally acknowledged "girls" and "boys" needs to be happy to excel at school, but while that is desirable, I am not convinced it is true. Bullied and bullying children can both be good students.
