red Cookbook

Finally got a Chef cookbook together that will take a minimal CentOS image, provision it and deliver you a running redmatrix installation. It's my first cookbook and I need to clean up some things and test bit more, but I hope I can release it next week. This should make it easier together with Vagrant to get a development installation.

Got not much done today, but the week is still young. ;-) Could test the Vagrant Box with Chef short on a M$ Windows PC and it also worked there quite nice. Just had to install one more Vagrant plugin Vagrant Berkshelf as expected which was as simple as executing vagrant plugin install vagrant-berkshelf. Realized some problems in my cookbook I need to fix, otherwise it won't work out of the box yet. But then I have read this blog #^https://sethvargo.com/the-future-of-vagrant-berkshelf/ and it looks like the tool I use has no bright future. :-! A replacement should be Test Kitchen which is much more flexible and powerful, but as far as I understand this will not work so easily on Windows anymore. We will see. For now I can still stick with Vagrant Berkshelf.

In Chef there is no wrong way to do something, only better ways.
Already learned that. Got some new ideas how to restructure the cookbook and make it more flexible so that it could install two or more hubs on the same server or also provision two separate VMs with just one vagrant up. I <3 #Vagrant.

Feels like a flu is coming back. Need a rest. :yawn
