The United States is one of almost 40 nations skipping UN talks to create a treaty banning nuclear weapons. Washington and a number of allies say provocations from countries like North Korea make a treaty unrealistic.Why they don't mention that Germany is also not attending these talks?

With a myriad of hairline cracks in the reactor pressure vessels, Germany is convinced that Belgium's Tihange 2 nuclear reactor is a huge security risk. Now, however, it appears Germany is helping secure its operation.
