Two of those were Aussies and they've been fighting the executions for years. I don't really care for the death penalty and it has been traditionally abused as a racial dominance thing in the US; but look folks - if you're going to smuggle heroin into a predominantly Muslim country, you should be aware that you might get caught and you should also be aware that they aren't just going to slap you on the wrist. You know you're taking a chance and you know the consequences so don't whinge about it if you get caught. I think it was Turkey that used to just set you down on the sidewalk and ask if you wanted a blindfold or not. No trial, just a bullet to the head.
